Which is better, man made stone or natural stone?

Basically the cost of the stone is due to availability of the material from the quarries worldwide. Marble merchants through out the world buy blocks from the different quarries. The blocks are checked for impurities, inclusions or inconsistencies. The stone is graded, filled, polished and calibrated.
